RAUL
started in early 1997 and, after various line-up changes, departed
from the Youngstown music scene in 2003. The core members for the
majority of RAUL's life were: Chris George (drums), Obie Savage
(vocals), Erik Hendel (Guitar/Bass/Backing Vocals), and Justin Arroyo
(Bass).
RAUL
was based in Youngstown, Ohio, played most shows in the northeastern
Ohio area and produced five studio recordings. The first, "Salmon
of Knowledge", the second, "Don't Take No Twitch"
and the fifth, "Show Some Respect" are all four song ep's
co-produced by the band and Michael Talanca at Tune Town Recording
Studio in Newton Falls, Ohio. Number three is a clever combination
of remixes of the songs from the first two ep's. The fourth is the
full length (20 tracks) "Standing In the Shadows of St. Patrick",
produced with Jim Bleacher at Underdog Recording Studio.
