RAUL Timeline

Early 1997 - RAUL is conceptualized by drummer, Chris George and bassist/guitarist, Justin Arroyo. They work with a number of musicians and experiment with the 8-track recorder. Throughout '97 they lay down a number of tracks - some of which are now available from Clint's Mobster Records, issued under the artist SCREWFACE. Screwface's self-titled ep and "The Summer Album" ep feature George and Arroyo with guests Joe Gondel, Kevin Glaz, Brian Newhard, and Damon, among others.
Late Summer 1997 -

With Kenny Greco on guitar and lead vocals, and Arroyo firmly in place as bassist, RAUL continues jamming with a multitude of musicians, and starts playing the Youngstown club scene with the core band of Arroyo/George/Greco.

Fall 1997 -

Erik Hendel joins the band as lead guitarist. Shortly after, Kenny Greco leaves the band and Hendel takes over on vocals.
